Itinerary

Day 1 :

Pick up from Nairobi to Chogoria gate, walk to Road Head and have an overnight camping

Day 2 :

Walk from Road Head camp through Nithi falls and Nithi caves and spend the night at lake Ellis

Day 3 :

Walk from Lake Ellis to Mintos camp

Day 4 :

Summit to peak Lenana and spend the night at Mackiders camp

Day 5 :

Walk to met station

Day 6 :

Travel back to Nairobi

Cost Includes

  • KWS park fees
  • Transport to and from the nearest town (Nanyuki, Narumoru, Chuka) to the park gate
  • Meals on full board ( 3 meals in a day) except drinks
  • All camping gear (tents) and accommodation in bandas or lodges
  • Porters, Guides, Cooks

Cost Excludes

  • Accommodation other than on the mountain prior to and after the trip
  • Hotel meals out of the mountain
  • Tips for porters, guides and cooks
  • Personal snacks, energy bars, water while hiking
  • Alcoholic drinks
